Our client has done away with outdated products, clunky technology and the hidden fees that banks get away with. Instead, our client has created is a highly disruptive banking model that millions of customers simply love. With new product releases and features on a weekly basis, they have set the standard to which other Neobanks aspire to reach.

As Country CEO it will be your job to launch the Australia/New Zealand business. It requires someone with entrepreneurial flair. A person who can make a significant impact in a global tech company which has grown to almost 1000 employees in only a few years. Think Uber or Amazon rather than Commonwealth Bank.

As CEO you will have ultimate responsibility for the launch, growth and success of the Australian business.

  • Build and lead a high performing executive team to deliver the business plan
  • Manage relationships with regulators and authorities
  • Develop Australian business launch and growth strategy
  • Scale the business and build on the international success
  • Act as the face of the Australian business
  • Manage the licensing process

Here is the experience we think you will need.

  • Launching Retail Banking Products (10-15 years of experience)
  • Start-up experience. Have you scaled a business before?
  • Direct experience and knowledge of relevant regulation and regulatory bodies
  • Natural entrepreneurial drive
  • Unnatural levels of grit, resilience and positive energy
  • Treasury/risk, or investment banking background
  • Rational and logical even under pressure
  • Egalitarian approach to leadership. If the photocopier is broke, you fix it!
  • A sharp eye for talent.
