Who are we?

We are RateSetter, one of the world’s largest peer-to-peer lenders. We have worked hard over the past four years to democratise lending with the aim of helping all Australians do more with less. We have made some great strides over the past 4 years – reaching over $500 million in lending, hitting over 100 people, growing at 100% year on year – and we’re barely getting started.

We believe the financial system has become bloated and inefficient, and are leveraging technology and data to give value – and power – back to the consumer.

What’s the role?

RateSetter has been able to get where it is today because of an absolute focus on the customer. As a result of our dedication to this key philosophy, we are the highest rated Financial Services product on ProductReview, with over 1700 reviews. Every 5 star review, of which there are MANY, is also posted to the entire company by our CCO who reads every single review. As a result, we take the hiring of customer service people really seriously, as you will be the face and voice of our business to our valued customer.

One of the key parts of this is building really strong rapport with both people looking to borrow money, but also people who are looking to invest their valuable savings onto our platform.

As a result, this would be a great role for a smart, customer focused person who has hundreds of responses to “tell me about a time when you went above and beyond for a customer” – and who relishes in telling every story.
