Objectives of the role

The Product Lead, Property Products is a product management role that provides direction for:

  • Quantium’s suite of products developed in conjunction with Corelogic, as well as
  • New products in the property vertical

The Quantium-Corelogic suite of products include Smartlister, Smartenergy, Smartbuy currently. There is high potential for this suite to grow. In addition, there are several growth opportunities through new products in both retail and residential property.

The Product Lead is responsible for all commercial and client-facing aspects of the product, management of internal stakeholders, development of roadmaps and feature prioritisation. The Product Lead is also accountable for the production of product management artefacts and marketing collateral, and acts as a product SME supporting sales efforts.


  • Leading a cross-functional team to deliver the Corelogic Product Suite and new property products to clients, including both BAU process operations and new feature development
  • Driving the evolution of the Corelogic Product Suite and new property products into a growth phase, scaling up to support multiple clients
  • Liaising with clients to manage the pipeline of new feature development
  • Commercial aspects of the products, including
    • Pricing strategy for new clients
    • Development of standard commercial terms
    • Signoff responsibility for negotiated terms where these deviate from the standard
    • Accountable for profitability of the product and management to budget

For the Corelogic suite of products, the Product Lead will be supporting Corelogic in the commercial aspects, as per our partnership agreement. However, for the new property products, the Product Lead will have full accountability for commercial aspects

  • Liaising with internal sales teams, both domestic and international, to support product sales efforts
  • Supporting product sales efforts as a subject matter expert on Quantium’s capability
  • Working with key stakeholders to develop a strategy and associated roadmap for relevant products
  • Market analysis including assessment of competitor threats, market changes and competitor strategy, and defining where the value proposition of Quantium’s solution sits in the market
  • Managing the delivery of new features in the roadmap, including features driven by analytics, interface and client demands
  • Liaising with internal support teams to ensure the platform and other internal support requested by the delivery team is available
  • Development, tracking and reporting to the wider business of core product performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement within the delivery team
  • Monitor staff performance providing regular feedback and determine strategies to help improve performance and address issues promptly
  • Promote awareness of the property product capability across the wider business, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on the capability is widely available and accessible

Experience and Education Required

  • 7+ years’ commercial experience in an environment of high technical complexity
  • 5+ years’ experience in supervising the work of others as a senior team member, project manager or team leader
  • 3+ years’ experience managing a software product using an Agile methodology
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information management, computer science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, actuarial studies or a related discipline
